An amazing ten-year career as a top multi-sport athlete started with a few early morning swim sessions at the local pool, mainly as a hangover cure! Annie never anticipated that she would become the World's fifth best female triathlete, World number one duathlete and represent Great Britain alongside Paula Radcliffe in the World Half Marathon Championships. Since retiring from professional sport in 2006, as well as pursuing her media career, Annie has replaced the adrenalin fuelled highs and lows of competing with the thrills and excitement of trekking and climbing. Her trips have included the Atlas Mountains, Mount Blanc, climbing in the Italian Alps and trekking to Everest Base Camp through Tibet.
